A curious person with many interests

That's my answer when someone asks what I do. The range is what lets me carry a project from idea to launch.

The short version

Curiosity is what drives me. I started in design, then it bothered me to hand over an idea without knowing whether it actually worked, so I learned to build.

I work from Cairo and design in Arabic first. Making Arabic the language of the product rather than a late translation is a decision I come back to on every project, because I see what Arabic content in this field is missing every day.

And when I step away from the screen, I make things by hand. I don't count it as a hobby separate from the work; both are attempts to understand how things get made.
